Pimlico Race Course’s clubhouse cupola and a Black-Eyed Susan flower are prominent in the logo for the 134th Preakness Stakes (gr. I), which was unveiled by the Maryland Jockey Club Dec. 16.
The yellow-and-black colored logo, which also features a horse and rider, was designed for the 10th consecutive year by Leffler Agency, according to a press release. The agency, which is based in Baltimore and Tampa, has won four national awards for previous Preakness designs.
The 2009 Preakness is scheduled to be run May 16.
